Naked was built out of frustration and turned into a work of passion.  I suffer from really dry skin and eczema and have discovered that Shea butter works best for me.  I purchased Shea from local specialty stores, markets and street fairs. My skin felt great but the scent left a lot to be desired.

One day while rummaging through my friend's closet and dresser, I found a container of whipped Shea butter and immediately smelled it.  I first noticed that there was no strong odor other than the fragrance on the label and that it was very smooth and creamy. Let's just say the container grew a pair of legs and made it's way home with me.  I then, contacted the maker and ordered 3 more. My skin was smoother, moisturized and I smelled great until that 5th order was placed.  I purchased 9 containers (some were gifts for coworkers) and I was completely let down.  Not only did it take 2 months to arrive, the consistency was different.  It was extremely hard and flaky.  When I tried to use it, I had to rub 2x as hard to get the flaky balls to blend in with my skin.  The scent was no longer noticeable.  It was a complete fail.    

Then the light bulb went off in my head. I know what I like and I know how I like it.  Why not create my own product since I'm not satisfied with what's out there? So I began testing different materials, different companies and different scents to determine what's the best for me. I wanted to make sure I had consistency with my product so I would never be disappointed.  I created a recipe and a method that worked every time.  So much so, that friends and family began digging into my tub of Shea butter and taking samples and making requests. I never considered that there would be an actual demand for the product, I just didn't want to be ashy.  As the demand grew, so did the quality of my product and here we are today as Naked. 

I challenge you to experience the Naked difference.  If your skin isn't smoother and softer after continued use than you might be an alligator.  For everyone else, I'm sure you'll love it!!! 

Honestly, there's nothing more natural than being Naked!
